Overview
SpeakColors (“the app”) is published by RWH Technology, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We designed the app for young children and the adults who support them, and we built it to be private by default. This policy explains what the app and this website (speakcolors.com) do and do not do with information.
Information the app collects
None. The SpeakColors app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not ask for names, email addresses, accounts, or location, and the app includes no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking technologies.
Voice recordings
SpeakColors lets a child record their voice and play it back to support speech practice. These recordings are processed and stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party, and we have no access to them. You can delete recordings at any time within the app.
Microphone access
The app requests microphone permission solely to enable the recording feature described above. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device’s Settings under Privacy & Security → Microphone. The app does not record unless you tap the record control.
Children’s privacy
SpeakColors is intended for use by young children under the supervision of a parent, caregiver, or clinician. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any upgrade or external links are placed behind an adults-only screen.
Purchases
The optional full-version upgrade is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchases are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy.
This website
Our website at speakcolors.com is a simple, static marketing site. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not run advertising or sell any information about visitors.
Analytics. To understand which pages are useful and how people find us, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. Umami records aggregate information such as page views, the referring website, and general details about your browser, operating system, device type, and country. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect or store information that identifies you personally. Visitor IP addresses are used only to derive an approximate country and are not retained.
Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (for example, IP address, requested page, and timestamp) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
Contact. If you email us using an address shown on the site, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message. We use it only to reply to you and do not share it with third parties.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the “last updated” date above and post the new version on this page.
